Virgo Birthstone: Sapphire: Borrowed from Old French saphir, from Latin sapphir, sappir, sapphīrus, from Ancient Greek σάπφειρος (sáppheiros), from a Semitic language (compare Hebrew סַפִּיר‎ (sappī́r)), perhaps ultimately from a non-Semitic source such as Sanskrit शनिप्रिय (śanipriya, “dark-colored stone”, literally “dear to Saturn”). Sapphires are often related to the Heavens. This gave it the nickname, “the divine stone”. In India and areas of South East Asia, it is seen as one of the nine specific gems that represent the Heavens. In this, the yellow Sapphire represents Jupiter and the blue Sapphire represents Saturn. Due to this, the name Sapphire was said to mean “Dear to the planet Saturn” but also “blue stone”. The word Sefirah is related to the word “sapphire” (sapir) and the verb lesaper, which means to “express” or “communicate.” This implies that the function of a Sefirah is to express a certain attribute. A sapphire is a gemstone that is brilliant and illuminating, implying that the function of a Sefirah is to give (Ra/Enki's) Light. Combining these two concepts, one may say that the Sefirot have two basic functions, one as lights or luminaries that serve to reveal and express, and another as Vessels that limit and define the Light so that specific qualities are manifest.

The sapphires atomic structure is hexagonal showing the (light) energy, that makes up reality, crystalizes into a hexagonal (yod, yod is Virgos letter) form, with sapphires being sephirot which are the dimensional levels this shows the tree of life's different dimensional levels correspond to the higher dimensional infinite tetrahedron grid/cubistic matrix fractal levels which fractal/encase each other forming Virgos womb(hexagonal yod).
